Client: Bloom Festival
The Client:
Bloom is an independent family friendly boutique festival. Boasting six musical arenas and an outstanding, diverse line up.
Our Solution:
Being left without a security provider only days prior to a 3 day festival, the event organisors called Delta to ask if we could help. Even though there was a risk involved with the task, Delta management were able to put together an significant events team at short notice, including a number of former Ghurkha soldiers who were employed to defend the perimeter of the site.
The event whilst a steep learning curve, was a complete success, with the charm and friendliness of the security team winning over not only the event goers but also the event organisors who committed to using Delta again. The events blog once everyone had gone home was full of support and praise for the security effort, unusual for many music events like Bloom
The next year, the event was held at Cheltenham, again (other than the rain) the security team (including the Ghurkhas), achieved the aims and objectives of the event organiser, liaised well with the local police, and created a safe and secure environment for the event goers to enjoy the event.
As a direct result of the work we achieved on the Bloom events, we secured several other events in the south and south west of England, some of those now also repeat clients
